Enel - Centrale Termoelettrica Project Panorama ATEX

The Enel Torrevaldaliga Nord power plant is a coal fired thermoelectric plant with a total installed capacity of 1980 MW. GammaDoors was charged to realize for the coal storage dome "DOME", 2 Atex folding doors (see Panorama Atex model) or the access to the storage area.

The doors Panorama Atex, have obtained the Atex Certification (see certificate), issued by TÜV Nord Italia as notified certification body. The ATEX certification refers to two EU Directives that regulate the management of equipment and workplaces at risk of explosion. There, gases, dusts or vapors can be dispersed in the air and if these materials were to catch fire they could trigger explosions causing damage and injury.

The Panorama Atex doors of GammaDoors have the advantage of combining the peculiarities of the Panorama 80 model with the absence of possible explosion triggers in the operating gears of the doors or in the sliding phase of the trolleys.

The GammaDoors guarantees a resistance to wind load class 5 certified by the Istituto Giordano S.p.A. (see certificate).
